FAQ

How do I use Wavetable Designer?

Wavetables are generated by a chain of generators: sources add a new waveform and effects modify the signals created by previous generators. Each generator has various parameters, each with four values:

Start sets the value for the first cycle.
End sets the value for last first cycle.
Curve adjusts how all cycles in-between the first and last cycle are interpolated.
Round sets if the parameter values are rounded to whole numbers.

More generators can be added via the dropdown menu and removed with the X, and generators can be rearranged by dragging-and-dropping.

With what soft- or hardware can I use the wavetables I made with Wavetable Designer?

With most wavetable synthesizers that support loading custom wavetables, such as the PolyPulse. Check the manual of your wavetable synthesizer to see if it can load custom wavetables and what file format it requires.

Why do I have to authorize so often? Is there a limit on how often I can authorize Wavetable Designer with my license?

There's no limit to authorization. We're working on a system keep Wavetable Designer authorized for a longer amount of time. To quickly authorize, consider using a password manager to store your credentials.
